Last month, HGTV announced that their hit Tampa, Florida-based series 100 Day Dream Home, would air a six-episode fifth season this month. That’s a shorter season than most of HGTV’s top series get, so it’s possible the network will air other episodes after the initial six-episode run.
In the series, married real estate developers Brian and Mika Kleinschmidt will continue to build custom, move-in ready homes from the ground up and design personalized renovations for their Tampa, Florida, area clients in only three months or less.
Whether building or renovating, Brian, a construction manager, and Mika, a real estate agent and designer, who attracted 12 million viewers to their last run, will take clients on inspiration tours of various properties to select the desired finishes they’ll infuse into each project. They’ll also overcome any obstacle to bring these dream homes to life, including a strong hurricane that hits Tampa and threatens side-by-side builds for sisters.
In the premiere episode, Brian and Mika will turn a rundown ranch home into a lakeside oasis for a family hoping to downsize. Once demo begins, the timeline will be challenged by a cracked foundation, black mold and faulty electrical. In the end, Brian and Mika will open up the main living space that offers stunning waterfront views, build a new pool and surprise the family with a large dock perfect for entertaining.
100 Day Dream Home premieres tonight, April 15, at 8pm with ensuing episodes airing Tuesdays on HGTV. The new episodes will also be available to stream the next day on Max® and discovery+ beginning April 16.
