SEYMOUR, Ind. – All northbound lanes of I-65 were shut down near the 46-mile marker in Jackson County, between Crothersville and Seymour, due to a crash involving several vehicles at around 9 p.m. on Monday.
Indiana State Police (ISP) reported that numerous engines and transmissions were spilled onto the northbound lanes from a trailer during the collision.
Traffic was diverted at the Uniontown Exit at the 41-mile marker to State Road 250W and then to U.S. 31.
It took Indiana State Police troopers and other crews about 4 hours to clear the mess. All northbound I-65 lanes were reopened at around 1 a.m.
