NORTH VERNON, Ind. – The Jennings County Sheriff’s Office (JCSO) announced Friday that a Jennings County man was arrested in September on a Felony charge of Child Molestation.
The investigation, led by Detective Ian McPherson, began when investigators received a report of a child possibly being molested in Jennings County. Detectives worked with the Indiana Department of Child Services and the Children Advocacy Center.
The investigation indicated that David Moser, 69, allegedly engaged in the molestation of a 10-year-old autistic female child.
The suspect was taken into custody by JCSO, incarcerated at the Jennings County Jail, and preliminarily charged with Child Molesting (Level 1 Felony). His bond was set at $75,000.
Chief Deputy Cody Low said, “This case defines evil to its core. The Jennings County Sheriff’s Office will continue to aggressively go after anyone who victimizes the children in our community.”
