COLUMBUS, Ind. – The City of Columbus has announced that starting Thursday, September 19, the current phase (Phase 1) of the Lowell Road Reconstruction Project will end and that section of Lowell Road will open to traffic.
Crews will still be completing sidewalk work, so drivers are reminded to use caution and obey flaggers in the area.
Construction will shift to Phase 2 of the project, which completely closes the intersection of Lowell Road and County Road 200W to all traffic.
During Phase 2, traffic traveling east on Lowell Road will have no access beyond County Road 250W, except for local traffic to Drummond Drive.
