COLUMBUS, Ind. – The Columbus Regional Health (CRH) Foundation hosts its new Impact and Gratitude Expo this Thursday, August 22, from 5 to 6:30 p.m., in the CRH promenade at Nexus Park. Remarks are at 5:45 p.m. Light refreshments will be served.
The public is invited to an evening dedicated to celebrating the generous donors to Columbus Regional Health Foundation, and to showcasing the impact of their contributions to the community’s well-being.
Attendees will learn first-hand the breadth and depth of the Foundation’s support of hospital and community health initiatives. In an age when nonprofits are challenged to demonstrate their value and steward the resources provided, the Expo is an important opportunity to convey the foundation’s impact.
Foundation Board Chair Andrew Weisner said, “In 2023, the CRH Foundation provided over $1.8 million to support community health and hospital-based services.”
It was announced earlier that the CRH Foundation is pausing the annual VIMCare Benefit Dinner and Reverse Raffle this year. It would have been the 29th. Funds raised have been used to support unreimbursed VIMCare programs like medication assistance, financial navigation, and mental health support.
The Foundation will continue to fund these and other critical VIMCare services through alternative fundraising means and will revisit hosting an event in 2025. In the meantime, the foundation will use this time to share its impact on VIMCare and many other community health initiatives and express thanks for the support of its donors.
“The generosity surrounding VIMCare enables us to provide our patients with vital medical care, medication assistance, connections to social and community services, and much more,” said VIMCare Medical Director Dr. Amy Hale.
