COLUMBUS, Ind. – The Bartholomew Consolidated School Corporation is ready for the 2024-2025 school year.
New superintendent Chad Phillips said, “We will renew our strategic focus on student achievement while continuing to develop the whole child. You will also see many facility renovations around the community, as we upgrade the learning environment to many of our school buildings. We will break ground on a new elementary school.”
He continued, “On August 7, we will welcome back nearly 12,000 students. A new senior class will come to their last first day of school. Others will go to their first day in pre-K or kindergarten with the nervous excitement of experiencing something new. I share that feeling of newness and am excited to continue our effort to be THE choice to learn, work, and play.”
For the 27th year, BCSC provides a back-to-school guide for parents and students. The guide contains what to expect in the new school year, including important information about enrollment, open houses, transportation, food service, before and after-school care, and employment opportunities. There is also a school directory and you are encouraged to contact the school corporation if you have any questions about our schools.
