COLUMBUS, Ind. -The Columbus Parks and Recreation Department honored Sarah Frasier and Steve Souder at the 2024 Jack Cramer – Ideals of Athletic Competition award ceremony on Wednesday evening at NexusPark.
The award is in memory of Jack Cramer, an outstanding local athlete who was only 33 years of age when he died in 1978. Throughout his lifetime, he fully demonstrated what has been termed the “Ideals of Athletic Competition.”
The honor is presented annually by the Columbus Parks and Recreation Department to a man and woman in senior high through adult-aged athletes, coaches, or sports organizers.
