GREENSBURG, Ind. – The City of Greensburg will again participate in the ‘National Night Out’ this year. The annual event is scheduled for North Park, 1200 N Park St., on Thursday, August 8, from 5 to 8 p.m.
National Night Out is an annual community-building campaign that promotes police-community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie to make neighborhoods safer and more caring places to live.
Throughout the event, attendees can tour and explore emergency vehicles, including police cars, fire trucks, ambulances, rescue vehicles, and helicopters. Organizers say no dogs, bicycles, or scooters are allowed inside the event area.

5:00 p.m. – Event Opens: Food Service and Music Begins
5:30 p.m. – REMC Live Wire Demonstration
6:00 p.m. – Greensburg Police K9 Demonstration
6:30 p.m. – Greensburg Fire Vehicle Fire Demonstration
7:00 p.m. – Greensburg Police K9 Demonstration
7:30 p.m. – Greensburg Fire Vehicle Extrication
7:45 p.m. – All Emergency Lights On
