INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – The Indiana State Fair unveiled a variety of themed days, discounts, and free events to enjoy while visiting this year’s fair. Whether you’re a thrill-seeker, a fair foodie, or a family looking for affordable fun, there’s something for everyone. The Indiana State Fair opens next Friday, August 2, and runs through August 18. The state fair is closed on Mondays.
You can save by purchasing your tickets, parking pass, and midway wristband in advance. Purchasing advance admission ($13) and parking ($8) will save you 20% off the regular gate cost. Midway wristbands ($25) can be purchased in advance for a total savings of 38%, and a family four-pack that includes admission for four and a parking pass ($52) will save you 30% at the gate.

- $2 Tuesdays: Mark your calendars for Tuesday, August 6 and 13, for $2 gate admission, $2 rides, and $2 food options at each food stand
- Wednesday, August 7: Military/First Responders’ Day, thanks to Peterman Brothers: First responders, current and former military members, and their families receive free admission with valid ID presented at the gate
- Thursday, August 8: BMV Discount Day: $8 gate admission with a printed or digital voucher from IN.GOV/BMV
- Wednesday, August 14: IndyStar Free Ticket: Check the IndyStar on Monday, August 12, for a free ticket, redeemable on Farmers’ Day, presented by MacAllister Machinery.
- Thursday, August 15: AAA Day: AAA cardholders receive free admission with a valid AAA membership card presented at the gate. One valid card per person
