COLUMBUS, Ind. – The Columbus Fire Department (CFD) and the Columbus Police Department (CPD) invite the community to this year’s Public Safety Family Fun Day at the Columbus Lowe’s, 10 St.reet and U.S. 31 on Tuesday, July 30, from 5 to 8 p.m. The community is everyone to come out and enjoy an evening of fun, learning, and community connection.
Public Safety Family Fun Day is an opportunity to meet and interact with the dedicated men and women who serve and protect our community. Attendees can view and explore emergency response equipment, including fire trucks, police cruisers, and specialized vehicles.
Officers and firefighters will be on hand to answer any questions you may have about the roles and responsibilities of CPD and CFD.
This free community event is designed to foster a stronger bond between public safety teams and the citizens they serve. Families can learn more about safety practices, ask questions, and get to know their local emergency responders in a relaxed and engaging environment.
