SEYMOUR, Ind. — Indiana Department of Transportation (INDOT) contractor RAM Construction Services plans to begin work on U.S. 50 over Mutton Creek Ditch and Storm Creek Ditch on or after Thursday, July 25, to complete two thin deck overlay projects in Jackson County.
Work will take place on Highway 50 just east of U.S. 31 and is expected to take up to two weeks, weather permitting. Crews will begin work over Mutton Creek Ditch and complete work over Storm Creek Ditch.
Temporary traffic signals will be utilized while the bridge repair is in progress. This project is part of a contract awarded in November 2023.
