COLUMBUS, Ind. – The City of Columbus Department of Public Works reminds residents that all offices, including Columbus City Utilities, will be closed for the holidays, Thursday, July 4, and Friday, July 5, to commemorate Independence Day.
There will be no trash or recycling pick-ups on Thursday. All collections will run one day behind for the remainder of the week with normal Friday collection on Saturday, July 6. City officials urge you to have your toters out by 7 a.m.
All offices will reopen on Monday, July 8, at 7 a.m. Visit columbus.in.gov/public-works/ for more information.
Columbus City Utilities says if you have a problem with your water or sewer service, call the business office at 812-372-8861 and follow the prompts.
