VERNON, Ind. – Indiana Department of Transportation (INDOT) contractor Paul H. Rohe Company is scheduled to close State Road 7 just south of Vernon on or after this Monday, May 20, to begin a small structure replacement project in Jennings County.
The closure is just south of the State Roads 7 and 3 junction and could take up to seven weeks.
Crews will place signage in the area before the start of construction. The official detour route is S.R. 3 to State Road 256 to State Road. 62.
INDOT reminds drivers to slow down, use extra caution, and avoid distractions when traveling in and near work zones. Work is weather-dependent and schedules are subject to change.
