FRANKLIN, Ind. – The City of Franklin congratulates Lt. Randy Cox on his 20 years of dedicated service to the Franklin Fire Department. Lt. Cox worked his last shift on Friday and officials wish him a happy retirement.
During his career, he served as a training officer for two years, as a SWAT medic for over 10 years, and on INTF-1 as a rescue specialist for more than six years.
Franklin Fire Department officials say they appreciate the knowledge Cox has passed on to the younger generation throughout the years and thank him for his grasp of the history of the department and for working to preserve it.
