VERNON, Ind. — The featured artist at Perceptions Yoga, Mindfulness, and Art next month is Sheila Brooks. The public is invited to the opening reception from 5 to 7 p.m. on Friday, May 5.
The gallery is open from noon to 5 p.m. on Tuesdays and Thursdays, and Saturdays from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Sheila has been painting for 16 years and took classes with “Rena” from Hope. Her favorite medium is oil and she loves to paint barns and landscapes.
Perception, located in Historic Vernon is a nonprofit provider of art shows, classes, and experiences serving Jennings County and beyond.
The closing reception will take place on May 26, also from 5 to 7 p.m.
