INDIANAPOLIS – The Indiana State Department of Health (ISDH) confirmed 16,563 new cases of coronavirus on Thursday. The latest update pushes the state’s overall total to 1,410,021. The first reported case of the disease was on March 6, 2020.
ISDH says COVID-19 has now claimed 19,393 Hoosier lives.
Bartholomew County has recorded 16,621 cases, Jackson County verifies 9,690, Jennings County confirms 5,526, and Johnson County reports 35,555 cases of the virus.
