INDIANAPOLIS – The National Weather Service in Indianapolis says a Flood Warning has been issued for Saturday through Sunday afternoon for Haw Creek, in Bartholomew County, near Clifford.
Minor to moderate flooding is expected to continue through the weekend because of the heavy rainfall.
The Columbus Response Team says flooded roads could include County Road 450N, Rocky Ford Road, and 10th Street at Marr Road.
Flood stage for Haw Creek is 12 feet. At 8:30 a.m. on Saturday, the stage was 13.9 feet.
The creek will rise to 14.3 feet late Saturday afternoon. It will fall to 14.2 feet after midnight and then fall below flood stage late Sunday morning.
