SEYMOUR, Ind. – Indiana Department of Transportation (INDOT) contractor Milestone Contractors, LP, is scheduled to begin a bridge rehabilitation project on State Road 11, just north of Seymour, on or after Monday, April 7, in Jackson County.
Work will take place on S.R. 11 over the East Fork White River overflow located between the East Fork White River and the I-65 interchange. It is expected to be complete in late August, weather permitting. Temporary traffic signals will be utilized while work is in progress.
This project is part of a $6.9 million INDOT contract awarded in December 2023.
Drivers should slow down, use caution, and avoid distractions when traveling in and near work zones.
