COLUMBUS, Ind. – At 5:13 a.m., Bartholomew County Emergency Management said the National Weather Service in Indianapolis issued a Tornado Warning for Columbus and Bartholomew County until 5:45 a.m.
The Tornado Warning is also in effect for Brown County and northwestern Jackson County.
A severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado was located 12 miles southwest of Nashville, or 13 miles southeast of Bloomington, moving northeast at 55 mph.
