SOUTH-CENTRAL, Ind. – As treatment of roads and highways continues, Indiana Department of Homeland Security officials say that the travel status for several south-central Indiana Counties has been upgraded to a Travel Watch (Orange).
This includes Bartholomew, Shelby, Jennings, Decatur, Morgan, and Brown Counties. Johnson and Jackson Counties remain at the Advisory level (Yellow).
During a local “Watch” travel advisory, only essential travel, such as to and from work, or emergencies, is recommended. Businesses, schools, government agencies, and other organizations should implement emergency action plans.
