NORTH VERNON, Ind. – The Jennings County Sheriff’s Office (JCSO) received information Tuesday evening about possible drug activity at an address on Buckingham Drive in Country Squire Lakes. After investigating, deputies applied for and were granted a search warrant for the address by the Jennings County Circuit Court.
The North Vernon Police Department and JCSO executed the warrant early Wednesday morning. Law enforcement had to force entry into the residence because several loud verbal commands were ignored. Six individuals were located inside and were detained.
Authorities allegedly found marijuana, prescription pills, methamphetamine, syringes, and drug-related items.
All six suspects were arrested, taken to Jennings County Jail, and face several preliminary charges.
