COLUMBUS, Ind. – The Columbus Parks Foundation and the Columbus Parks and Recreation Department present the second Plunge Into Parks this Saturday, January 11.
The Polar Plunge fundraising competition results among the nine local celebrity plungers will be announced.
The celebrity plungers include owner of Coca-Cola/community supporter Hutch Schumaker and former BCSC Superintendent Jim Roberts.
Spectators are invited to join the fun on 4th Street in downtown Columbus. There will be live music, heaters, entertainment, and food and drink for sale.
You can even plunge if you have ice in your veins and want to donate $20 to the Columbus Parks Foundation. The event begins at 2 p.m. with last-minute registrations and the polar plunging starts at 3 p.m.
