COLUMBUS, Ind. – All Columbus City and Bartholomew County offices, including Columbus City Utilities (CCU), the Bartholomew County Solid Waste Management District, and the Columbus/Bartholomew Recycling Center will be closed on Tuesday, December 31, and Wednesday, January 1, to celebrate the New Year’s holiday.
The Bartholomew County Landfill will be open on New Year’s Eve from 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
There are no garbage, compost, recycling, loose-leaf, or brush collection services on New Year’s Day, Wednesday, January 1. City curbside pickups will be delayed by one day the rest of the week, with Friday’s collections on Saturday, January 4. Remember to have toters out by 7 a.m. on your trash day.
Normal business hours will resume on Thursday, January 2.
