FRANKLIN, Ind. – The Johnson County Community Foundation (JCCF) Grants Committee awarded a total of $161,146 last week to 18 different local organizations.
The checks allow the Foundation to address several community needs in Johnson County.
The JCCF mission is to enhance the quality of life for all citizens of Johnson County, now and for generations to come, by building community endowment, addressing needs through grantmaking (including scholarships), and providing leadership on key community issues.
Here are the amounts awarded to each organization:
- American Red Cross | Disaster Relief in Johnson County ($5,000)
- Autism Community Connection | Teen and Adult Programs ($7,500)
- Bridges Alliance of Johnson County | Circles Johnson County 2024/2025 Cohort ($8,000)
- Central Nine Adult Education | Digital Skills for Life and Work – Community Class ($7,704)
- Discover Downtown Franklin | Event Vehicle ($15,000)
- Gateway Services, Inc. | Chairs for the Participants of Day Program ($10,000)
- Gleaners Food Bank of Indiana, Inc. | Produce Hope ($5,000)
- Great Harvest Food Pantry | Baby 500 ($10,000)
- HeavenEarth Spaces | Vacant Lot/Duplex Construction-Residency Rental Program ($15,000)
- I Support the Girls | Indianapolis and Surrounding Areas ($10,000)
- Johnson County Public Library | Affordable Healthy Eating-Food Education Series ($5,000)
- Johnson County Senior Services | So Many Seniors… So Many Needs ($5,000)
