COLUMBUS, Ind. – The Festival of Lights Parade is this Saturday night but the annual downtown Columbus Festival of Lights celebration is so much more than just a parade.
Activities start at noon and continue until well after dark with the parade and QMIX Musical Fireworks.
Santa, food trucks, parking lot parties, a vendor market, and extended retail hours at the downtown merchants are all a part of the afternoon of fun before the festival’s main events.
Here are the times/activities of this year’s Festival of Lights:
- Noon – 2:30 p.m. – Pictures with Santa at The Commons
- Noon – 6 p.m. – Santa’s Workshop-vendor market on 4th Street
- Noon – 6 p.m. – Claus’ Kitchen-Food Trucks on 7th Street at the Century 21 parking lot
- 3 – 5 p.m. – Santa’s Parking Lot Party behind Centra Credit Union on 5th Street
- 5 p.m. – Free Yoga for Kids at Zen Wellness Studio, 639 Washington St.
- 6 p.m. – Festival of Lights Parade (see the parade route here)
- 7:20 p.m. (approximately) – Lohmeyer Plumbing/QMIX Christmas Musical Fireworks
