COLUMBUS, Ind. – The City of Columbus has announced that Columbus City Hall and all offices, including Columbus City Utilities, are closed on Thanksgiving Thursday, November 28, and Friday, November 29. Offices will reopen on Monday, December 2.
On Monday through Wednesday of the coming week, trash pick-up will be on its normal schedule. There will be no garbage, compost, recycling, loose-leaf, or brush collections on Thanksgiving Day.
After the Thanksgiving holiday, service will run one day behind. Thursday’s trash will be collected on Friday, November 29, and if Friday is your normal day, your trash will be picked up on Saturday, November 30.
Columbus City Utilities Office reminds its customers that during the closure over the long weekend if you have a problem with your water or sewer service, call the business office at 812-372-8861 and follow the prompts.
