TAYLORSVILLE, Ind. – The Eastern Bartholomew Water Corporation said Friday that boil advisories were in effect for customers in two communities it serves.
No reason was given for the advisories.
The first was issued Friday morning for the Wehmeier Addition and is active through noon on Monday, November 18.
Then, early Friday afternoon, a second Boil Water Advisory was announced for County Road 700S, from County Road 450E to County Road 500E, in Elizabethtown. It is in effect until noon Tuesday.
Any water used for drinking or cooking purposes should be boiled for at least five minutes and cooled before consumption. For more information, call the water utility at 812-526-9777.
