COLUMBUS, Ind. – The Bartholomew County Highway Department has announced that portions of County Road 500N, from State Road 9 to the Hartsville Town Limits, will be closed on Thursday, November 14, Friday, November 15, Monday, November 18, and Tuesday, November 19, for milling and paving of the road surface.
Weather permitting, Milestone will begin milling the section from State Road 9 to County Road 825E on Thursday, November 14, and then move east to the next section of the road. Paving follows shortly after that.
The milled road surface will be rough and the butt joints will be at both bridges so drivers should use caution when traveling on these surfaces.
Officials ask motorists to watch for crews and try to avoid these areas, if possible.
