COLUMBUS, Ind. – The Bartholomew Consolidated School Corporation (BCSC) recently shared the latest on its Envision 2030 facility improvements.
Parkside Elementary recently celebrated a successful ribbon-cutting event on August 5 and students, staff, and the community have been enjoying their new space. Schmitt Elementary is progressing well, with new classrooms and a revamped front office set to be completed after Fall Break.
The Richard L. Johnson Early Learning Center is undergoing renovations that will expand the Bright Beginnings program to serve more families. BCSC says it is also making great strides with the new elementary school expected to open in July 2027, and the full renovation of Northside Middle School is on track to begin in May 2025. L. Frances Smith Elementary School will see interior renovations starting in March 2025.
These projects mark the largest investment in BCSC facilities since the mid-20th century, and all refurbishings are being accomplished while maintaining a tax-rate-neutral approach.
