GREENWOOD, Ind. – The City of Greenwood’s Fall Concert Series is back by popular demand starting this weekend and will continue for the next four Saturdays with shows beginning at 6 p.m. This year, Oktoberfest will be celebrated during the October 5 concert.
The series, presented by Festival Country Indiana, is free to the public and takes place at the Greenwood Amphitheater. Musical performances cover a variety of genres at the outdoor venue. Attendees are encouraged to bring lawn chairs, blankets, and snack-filled coolers.
Since 2022, Greenwood’s Parks and Recreation Department has welcomed over 8,000 attendees for the fall series, and city officials look forward to seeing those numbers grow.
“The fall concert series has quickly become a community favorite here in Greenwood,” said Mayor Mark W. Myers. “I am grateful for the Parks and Recreation Department’s dedication to expanding programming and creating quality of life opportunities for residents.”

On October 5, attendees can join in the Oktoberfest activities including a performance by Der Polkatz, beer and root beer stein competitions, and a costume contest. Select food vendors will be available and Oaken Barrel Brewing Company and Mallow Run Winery will provide beverages at each show.
