EDINBURGH, Ind. – The Indiana Department of Transportation (INDOT) has announced that maintenance for utility relocation will begin along State Road 252, in Edinburgh, on or after Monday, September 9.
Work will take place between Lincoln Street and the bridge over Big Blue River and is expected to take up to six months, weather permitting.
Motorists should expect lane closures while the maintenance is in progress.
The utility relocation is part of a planned district pavement improvement project that will begin at a later time.
INDOT reminds drivers to slow down, use caution, and avoid distractions when traveling near work zones. Schedules are subject to change.
