SEYMOUR, Ind. – Officials from Seymour Oktoberfest have announced that it has come to their attention that individuals using the names Mark Brown and Marcia O’Flynn are portraying themselves as from the Seymour Oktoberfest.
They are approaching businesses attempting to scam people into paying them via Cash App for vendor space.
A spokesperson for the Seymour Oktoberfest committee said, “Do not send money to these people. It is not how we do business.”
The official vendor application is on their website and is not now open due to spots being filled.
