COLUMBUS, Ind. – The Bartholomew Consolidated School Corporation (BCSC) has announced that Derek Chastain, who teaches science at Columbus East High School, has been selected as the 2023-2024 BCSC Teacher of the Year. Mr. Chastain’s commitment to engaging and hands-on teaching has profoundly impacted his students and the educational community.
