COLUMBUS, Ind. – The Bartholomew County Highway Department announced temporary closures on three roads this week.
County Road 700S, between County Road 500W and State Road 58, is now closed for pipe replacement. It is scheduled to reopen on Friday, August 9, at 3:30 p.m. No through traffic is allowed.
County Road 400W, between State Road 58 and County Road 550S is closed on Tuesday, August 6, from approximately 7:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. for road repairs.
Base Road, from County Road 300E to Jewell Village, is closed on Tuesday, August 6, and Wednesday, August 7, from 7 a.m. until 4 p.m. Trees will be cleared and a lift station for utilities will be relocated.
Motorists are asked to avoid these areas, if at all possible.
