FRANKLIN, Ind. – Franklin College recently announced the retirement of three professors who dedicated their time, talent, and hearts to teaching at the school.
Sherri Hall, Associate Professor of Education, retired in May. She joined the Franklin College faculty in 2002. She spent 22 years preparing the minds of future educators, specializing in English and language arts secondary education. Hall is a resident of Franklin.
Svetlana Rakic, Ph.D. Professor of Art. devoted 27 years to Franklin College. When she began at the college, she was the only art professor, and art was only offered as a minor. She played a key role in the department’s growth during her tenure. Rakic is a resident of Bloomington.
Steven Scheer, DBA, Associate Professor of Economics and Business. retired in May. He joined the Franklin College faculty in 2011. His 14 years there were spent sharing his expertise on business management, worker motivation, and applied managerial economics. Scheer resides in Franklin.
