FRANKLIN, Ind. – The City of Franklin, Festival Country Indiana, and Franklin Parks and Recreation are hosting the 2024 Franklin Eclipse Festival this weekend, Saturday, April 6, through Monday, April 8. It will be held at the DriveHubler.com Amphitheater at Youngs Creek Park in downtown Franklin.
At the festival Eclipse Market, you can shop for official Eclipse merchandise from local vendors on Sunday from 2 to 9:30 p.m. and Monday, from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.
A lot of preparation has gone into the Total Solar Eclipse activities and the City has published its public safety information, emergency plans, and event details for the extended weekend.
Mayor Steve Barnett said, “This is an exciting time for our community and businesses. We have prepared to the best of our ability for thousands of visitors. We ask everyone to be patient and enjoy this historic event.” You can view the Emergency Management safety plans here.
