INDIANAPOLIS – The National Weather Service says a Flood Watch is in effect from Monday at 8 pm. through Tuesday afternoon for central and south-central Indiana.
Flash flooding caused by excessive rainfall is possible. Excessive runoff may result in flooding in rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
Repeated rounds of heavy rain and thunderstorms are expected overnight Monday/Tuesday which may lead to flash flooding. Around two inches of rain is expected through Tuesday with locally higher amounts possible.
