NASHVILLE, Ind. – The Brown County Sheriff’s Office has announced that the Brown County Jail inmate visitation guidelines have been updated. Go here for more details.
Here are some of the new rules regarding visiting inmates:
- Each inmate is allowed one visit per week
- Each inmate will be allowed up to four visitors at a time
- A parent or legal guardian must accompany visitors under the age of 18 over the age of 18
- Once a visitor leaves the visitation area, they will not be allowed to re-enter
- Each visitor must show a non-expired state-issued ID
- Visitors must be signed in and in the lobby of the Brown County Sheriff’s Office before visiting hours start
The Brown County Jail also now has a video kiosk system in the lobby area. Inmates will receive one free onsite Video Kiosk visit per week. For more information about the Video Kiosk system, click here.
