COLUMBUS, Ind. – Elwood Staffing announced Monday that it had acquired BelFlex Staffing Network, a provider of commercial staffing headquartered in Cincinnati. Terms of the deal that closed on January 15 were not announced.
“The growth potential for Elwood and BelFlex is extremely exciting,” Elwood Staffing CEO John Elwood said in a press release. “BelFlex gains access to Elwood’s resources, and we will leverage one another’s footprints and expertise to expand client offerings and target new markets.”
The company will add 26 branch locations in 19 new markets, primarily throughout the Midwest and Southeast. Before the transaction, Elwood was ranked as the 10th largest industrial U.S. staffing firm.
Elwood Staffing, headquartered in Columbus, has locations in over 20 Indiana cities including Columbus, Franklin, Seymour, Greensburg, and Shelbyville.
BelFlex will continue operating under the BelFlex brand as a subsidiary of Elwood.
