JOHNSON COUNTY – Area law enforcement arrested 23 people during a drug sting on Wednesday.
Members of the Johnson County Sheriff’s Office (JCSO), Edinburgh Police Department (EPD), Franklin Police Department (FPD), Greenwood Police Department (GPD), and the Marion County Sheriff’s Office executed the drug enforcement warrants, which were the result of ongoing investigative efforts of JCSO, FPD, and GPD, per Sheriff Duane Burgess.
The Johnson County joint tactical team executed the warrants, which include the above Johnson County agencies, as well as members of the Bargersville Police Department, Bargersville Fire Departments and the White River Fire Department.
A total of 28 felony drug warrants were issued to warrant teams, 21 to Johnson County teams and 7 to the Marion County Sheriff’s Office to serve.
