NORTH VERNON, Ind. – The Jennings County Jail has welcomed its new Chaplain, Scott Kollmann, who will provide onsite pastor counseling services to both inmates and officers as needed and requested.
Members of the jail staff say they are happy to have him and look forward to getting to know him better.
Kollmann’s background includes being a U.S. Navy veteran, a father, and a grandfather. He has been the Pastor at New Life Fellowship Church in Madison for 14 years. He is also a member of the Bartholomew County Residents Encounter Christ (REC) Board for jails and is forming another REC board for southern Indiana.
Additionally, he serves as an advisor on the board for the Southeast Indiana Transitional Resources that started in 2015 and opened the Jefferson House: Men’s Transitional House in Madison.
