NORTH VERNON, Ind. – The Jennings County Sheriff’s Office (JCSO) arrested two people on various drug charges last week. Sheriff Kenny Freeman and three deputies went to an address in Geneva Township on March 20, attempting to serve a felony arrest warrant.
While looking for the wanted person, the officers say they observed illegal drugs and drug-related items out in plain view, according to law enforcement. A search warrant was approved by the Jennings County Circuit Court.
Suspected methamphetamine, syringes, controlled substance pills, and other paraphernalia were allegedly found inside the residence. Two people were arrested without incident and taken to Jennings County Jail.
JCSO and the Country Squire Lakes Office have reportedly received multiple complaints regarding the activities at the location of this incident.
Gary Shane Lowe was arrested on preliminary charges of maintaining a common nuisance, possession of meth, possession of a syringe, and possession of drug paraphernalia. Craig Lowe was booked for possession of meth, possession of a syringe, violation of the Indiana Legend Drug Act, visiting a common nuisance, and possession of paraphernalia.
