NORTH VERNON, Ind. — Seymour native Rickie Joe Wilson is returning to his home state for a special one-night-only concert at the historic Park Theatre Civic Center, 25 S. Madison Ave., in North Vernon, on Saturday, April 15. An AOK Records Nashville/Fame Muscle Shoals Recording Artist, Wilson is coming back for his first area show in five years.
The concert will begin at 7 p.m. and showcases Hillbilly Rock and Roll Country Boogie with his “Amazing Hillbilly Rock and Roll Band,” featuring Seymour native John Whitcomb on guitar, Bloomington drummer Kevin Burkett, and Seymour bassist Levi Pfaffenberger.
Rickie Joe Wilson performs all year round in Florida. His live shows are an eclectic mix of Classic Country, Outlaw Country, Classic Rock, and ’50s, ’60s, ’70s, and ’80s radio hits.
Wilson and the band will be playing his recent country releases, plus his new single “Margarita Mourning,” which is slated to hit radio in late March.
