COLUMBUS, Ind. – The Bartholomew County Historical Society (BCHS) is holding a collection drive and weekly preservation workshops this month.
BCHS’s collection currently holds over 80,000 items that tell the story of Bartholomew County including photos, memorabilia, clothing, paintings, Arvin household items, and more. The organization hopes to add articles to the collection that are currently missing including items associated with Cosco, Minority Group History, Immigration to the Country, Rural History, Fire and Police Departments, Historic Photographs, Scrapbooks, Local Civil War items, Hope, Elizabethtown, Hartsville, and County Military History.

Preservations workshops are held at the BCHS Museum, 524 3rd St., every Wednesday at 3 p.m. Registration is not required.
