FRANKLIN, Ind. – The Johnson County Sheriff’s Office (JCSO) on Tuesday arrested Ordis Daniel Gilbert Perry, 26, of Sunman, on three charges related to child solicitation. He remains in Johnson County Jail on a $17,600 bond.
Detectives became aware of Perry in November when he participated in electronic conversations with a person he thought was 14 years old. During the investigation, the suspect allegedly agreed to meet on Tuesday, December 6, in the Franklin area near the Johnson County Jail.
Perry was taken into custody for child solicitation, dissemination of harmful material to a minor, and patronizing a prostitute. JCSO says that elements of those crimes were met during the course of this investigation.
The suspect’s case has been forwarded to the Johnson County Prosecutors Office for formal charges.
