COLUMBUS, Ind. – The National Association of Counties (NACo) and the Association of Indiana Counties (AIC) have proudly partnered to provide Indiana counties with a free flag collection box. Indiana County officials are honored to join forces to ensure that our nation’s banner receives a proper retirement.
Bring your old and tattered U.S. flag to the Bartholomew County Flag Collection Box. It is located outside the Veteran’s Office on the second floor of the Government Office Building, at 440 Third St, in Columbus.
Larry Garrity, Veteran’s Service Officer, will then make sure the flag is disposed of properly.
