COLUMBUS, Ind. – The entire NCAA Men’s Basketball Tournament is in Indiana this year. As part of the tourney-related content, VisitIndiana.com is sponsoring a promotion to determine which Indiana High School gym is best. The Bartholomew Consolidated School Corporation (BCSC) thinks Columbus North Memorial Gym is the one.
Voting in the contest is on now and continues until April 1. Go here to vote for Columbus North, which held its first game in the gym in November 1954. BCSC asks you to show your school and community pride and vote.
Columbus North Memorial Gym was financed through public donations with almost $1 million pledged in a 10-day period in 1952.
