VERSAILLES, Ind. – Sgt. Stephen Wheeles of the Indiana State Police (ISP) Post in Versailles, who provides news information to Local News Digital and all of the media in south-central Indiana, had a long day on Monday. He provided road updates and helped stranded motorists well into the evening.
After finally getting home at about 10:00 Monday night, he experienced what many Hoosiers did yesterday. His all-wheel-drive ISP police car got stuck in his driveway. It just proves that no one is immune to the blowing and drifting of snow, not even law enforcement officers.
He laughed off the incident and said he would be back on the job early Tuesday morning to check conditions and provide updates.
