COLUMBUS, Ind. – At the Bartholomew Consolidated School Corporation (BCSC) board meeting on Monday evening, Columbus mayor Jim Lienhoop proclaimed yesterday, Monday, November 18, as Larry Perkinson day.
Perkinson, who began his BCSC career on August 25, 1979, is retiring at the end of 2019 in the position for which he is best known, student assistance coordinator. Lienhoop noted that Parkinson has always been “one phone call away” when issues have arisen.
In other business, the BCSC board approved a 2.5 percent increase in salaries for administrators and support staff, as well as a contribution of $400 to the health savings accounts of any eligible administrative or support staff personnel.
