COLUMBUS, Ind. – A local woman who snuck into a Columbus School on Tuesday was arrested by CPD officers after she reportedly stole three student’s cell phones. Around 8:30 a.m. CPD officers were notified of a suspicious person outside of Central Middle School. The theft of the student’s cell phones was discovered a short time later and reported to school resource officers who were able to track the phones to the area of Foundation for Youth where they located and arrested the suspect, Alexis Daniels, 19, of Columbus.
Daniels was taken to the Bartholomew County Jail on a preliminary charge of theft.
